I love minifigures from Lego. I love bow tie minifigures even more, naturally. Since the start of the miniseries and branded series, they have become increasingly creative. You can customize them in so many ways with various accessories, hairstyles and facial expressions. This allows one to even create minifigures that reflect their own image and personality. On top of this, there’s a growing number of companies and shops that sell custom minifigures, heads and other parts to take it to the next level.
Of course, me being a crazy bow tie with lego bricks kind of guy, I found myself one day searching for the Lego bow tie minifigures. And did yours truly go down that rabbit hole to find each an every such figure that wore a bow with style? Of course I did.
So here’s a comprehensive list with all minifigures that I have found so far which wear a bow tie with style. Note that although I do focus mainly on bow ties for men and boys, I did not discriminate and listed all bow tie minifigures regardless of gender… or race for that matter. Also, I have considered both Lego and Lego Duplo.
Although the first minifigure wearing a tie was in 1978… it was sadly not a bow tie. I will forgive Lego this transgression ( I joke, I joke, I kid I kid). Alright, on to the bow tie minifigures:
1986:
The first figure with a bow tie was actually a Lego Duplo one with gray hair. He wore a light green bow tie and appeared in 5 sets (9157, 9158, 9978, 9979 and 2750)
