I finally had time to update the Bow Tie Minifigures list post that I created last year and add the 2024 brick bow tie wearers.
Last update was when we added Mr. Ricbert from the Harry Potter sets around October last year.
Since then, there have been a lot of new minifigures coming out, of which 6 wearing a bow tie so far (Aug. 2024).
It seems that superheroes, vikings and arctic explorers chose to miss out on styling things up a bit.
The Orient express is the last set in 2023 to have bow tie wearing figures with the lovely female buttler and a black bow tie. Either that set or the Museum with the caretaker sporting a red bowtie.
2024 starts off with a Victoria micro doll sporting a yellow bow tie.
After a copious amount of astronauts, ninjas, more friends, superheroes and firefighters later, we have lovely Isabell from Animal Crossing jumping in with a red bow.
Then we have again some racers, small wizards, 7 dwarfs, more astronauts, more superheroes but we get the Joker with a turquoise bow tie to go with his lavender suit.
Then more astronauts. Really bummed out here that with the push for space theme this year, there wasn’t at least one bow tie wearing space man or woman out there.
We then get some cool minions (but you know, they could have been cooler), some lovely evil beings and creatures from Mordor, some villagers from Minecraft, more minions and we finally reach Jules Verne sporting a classic black bow tie.
Then more superheroes – honestly, Hulk would look great with a black bow tie, he would be dashingly smashing away – then robots and droids, more Animal Crossing, lots of minifigures from Lego City (the barista would have looked great with a coffee bean pattern bow tie) and that’s about it so far for 2024.
As far as LEGO bow tie minifigures are concerned, 2024 is turning out to be a very weak year.
I will do another update maybe at the end of the year or early 2025 and all the mentioned bow tie minifigures have been added to the list. Check out all the bow tie wearers by year.
