For any formal event, you can’t go wrong with a black on black bow tie. And if you want to make some heads turn, wearing a bow tie made with LEGO bricks will definitely get you there.
I already shared some ideas in one of my last posts and here are some more creations that will definitely get you noticed at any black tie or wedding.
Starting off, we have a narrow pointed end bow tie, one of the more uncommon shapes as far as bow ties go.
Up next, we have a new shape I created playing around with rounded and corner shaped tiles. I give you the Fish Tail black bow tie. It is a very elegant and “studless” bow tie, adding to its elegance. And the bow tie shape is hollow inside to add even more charm and personality to this bow tie.
This one will likely be available in the bow tie shop in the coming months.
If you want to go a bit more conservative, then this pointed butterfly might be the right choice for you. It does go away from the classic butterfly shape, but not that far away.
How about a glasses themed bow tie? Well this bow tie brings that look. It also looks like someone with a pointy nose and pointy moustache is wearing them.
If you are a fan of the big butterly or just want a nice twist on the butterfly shape, have a look at the bow tie shape below. I left the hinge plates uncovered on one side and placed them in front to show how the shape was created.
One of the more challenging shapes to create was this Arrow Feathers bow tie. The challenge being not in the feather shape, but in making everything look good together and be sturdy enough when assembled so it doesn’t fall apart.
I gladly give you the Arrow Feathers black bow tie:
Last but ceraintly not least, I give you the Owl Eyes. I didn’t mean to creat owl looking eyes, but combining hollow square plates and wedge plates created this wonderful bow tie shape.
And that’s a wrap for today’s showcase of black on black bow tie creations. Which one did you like best? Which one would you wear? Just leave a note in the comments.
As usual, have a crazy day and don’t forget to check out the bow tie shop!
