Beyond the basic types of bow tie shapes, you can get really creative by adding or including a LEGO® Minifigure into your bow.
Here are a few examples of how you can include the iconic tiny figures from LEGO® to give your bow tie more personality.
First off, the classic approach is to just add the LEGO® Minifigure as the centerpiece of your bow tie. It will substitute the knot so to speak:
Next up, you can keep the placement in the center, but play around with the layout or use the smaller / micro LEGO® Minifigures, either by itself or together with other elements. Here are some examples from past bow ties:

The next step of course is to shift things to one side or the other. This can be a fresh look to the classical simmetrical approach. As examples, check out these bow ties created last year during the Christmas bow tie series posts:
Also, you can choose to use LEGO® Minifigure animals instead of people. This opens up a lot of options, from using fish for sea or underwater themes, to reindeer or husky dogs for winter themed ones, or parrots for a more tropical and holiday bow tie. Some examples below:
And last but not least, you can use only parts or elements of a LEGO® Minifigure and get creative with new concepts or designs. For example, the inception bow tie uses LEGO® heads and the bow tie accessory part while the halloween bow tie uses the skeleton head and arms.
There are several other ways to integrate and use LEGO® Minifigures or parts of them in your bow tie creations and designs. This article just show the basic or most straightforward approaches.
